Hello! My name is Leah Towers and I am an ASHA certified Speech-Language Pathologist with my license to practice in Michigan. I'm based out of South Lyon but, with the help of technology, I am able to see clients anywhere in Michigan via telepractice!

I have been working in the field of speech-language pathology since 2010 with experience in private practices, child development centers, hospital rehab and traumatic brain injury units, aphasia centers, outpatient pediatric clinics, and schools. I have worked with toddlers, preschoolers, school-age students, and adults.

While I've enjoyed all of these experiences, my passion lies in working with children and watching them grow into confident and proud communicators! I have a special interest in evaluating and treating speech sound disorders such as articulation disorders, phonological disorders, and childhood apraxia of speech. I am also passionate about working in early intervention with early language development and late talkers, and I am a neurodiversity affirming therapist with training in sensory and gestalt language development.

A little about me outside of work: I am married with two young children and a dog and we enjoy traveling and spending time outdoors as a family. Some of my hobbies include cooking/baking, reading, yoga, camping, and traveling :)
